Located in Shirakawa-go, the Flame Jin Art Museum exhibits the works of painter Flame Jin. For about 20 years, Flame Jin had a studio in Shirakawa-go where he worked on his artwork. He later donated his work and the gassho-zukuri building to Shirakawa Village, where it is now open to the public as an art museum. Among his works, “Daughters of Fire,” created from burning lava, has been highly praised for its unique beauty. The museum provides a unique space that blends traditional Gassho-zukuri architecture with contemporary art, offering visitors a new kind of art experience.
